This is one of the most enchanting treks in Uttarakhand Himalaya which takes you deep inside the greater Himalaya. Nandikund trek cross many rivulets, alpine meadows covered by innumerable and rare species of flowers and herbs, deep gorges, high snow clad peaks experiencing an imaginary, amazing and splendid view of the great mountains of Himalaya, and many other prominent places. Across this trek one comes across some wild animals like, Thar, Bharal, Musk deer and many more rare and endangered species as it comes under sanctuary and biosphere reserve area.
